Sekundarni povzetek: The thesis focuses on a model of process improvement with the method of tabular application development in a small production company which produces and sells medical gases and home care providing. The key process at hand has the patient communication centre, a »stressing« activity that we want to eliminate, and improve the business process by substituting the said activity with equally effective, cheaper and less stressing business process. We have achieved an improvement with the method of tabular application development, evaluation of activity effects and working process effects, improvement of the existing process, support by means of introducing corresponding information system and information communication technology. Through business processes reengineering we generated a new business process which shows significant improvements (after the business processes are renovated the operating costs decrease by 22 %).
