Sekundarni povzetek:	The thesis examines the introduction and the impact of the cloud computing technology to small hotels, which today face many challenges in the global market. The thesis focuses on cloud based hotel software as a new information and communication technology (here after ICT) in the hotel industry, which shows specifically for small hotels, a number of advantages and opportunities for improvement of their business performance and gaining of competitive advantage. The need for the introduction of ICT in a small hotel is indicated, followed by a description of a number of critical factors determining the introduction of ICT. Finally, a study looks into a cloud based hotel software solution – Hotelinco, based on which we define useful features of the cloud based hotel software for a small hotel in general.
