Sekundarni povzetek:	The main purpose of packaging in pharmaceutical production is quality assurance of a made up product throughout its applicability. One of most important packaging materials is a folding box whose goal is to attract a customer in order to buy the product as well as get familiar with all important information. Problems that appear are connected with excessively high cost of packing write off, especially folding boxes. This is the reason why the company Krka has introduced measures to reduce costs. The aim of the diploma thesis is to consider the measures in order to reduce the write off costs as well as to find out all adventages of a new design. In order to study my two hypotheses the SWOT analysis has been used. The results show that the measures implemented have increased the cost of write off in the first quarter of 2014 but our plans are to reduce them to the end of the year and to make a new design of packaging that will become recognizable and safe for users.
