Sekundarni povzetek:	With occurrence, but mostly with development of the internet appeared also troubles. One of them is for sure so called “internet addiction”, common mostly among young people, which represent the most vulnerable group. Introduced is development and definition of the internet, signs, consequences and reasons for appearance of the addiction. The results of already made researches, which are used as a basic for our research, intertwine and upgrade each other. Our research was made not only in urban, but also in rural environment. The final results, achieved by interviewing 132 young people, represent the level of internet addiction among Slovenian youth.
