Povzetek
V magistrskem delu smo raziskovali pravne vidike nasilnih pacientov nad zdravstvenimi delavci pri čemer smo izhajali iz hipoteze, da pravna ureditev pomembno vpliva na zmanjšanje nasilja pacientov nad zaposlenimi v zdravstvu. Prav tako smo postavili hipotezi, da nivo formalne izobrazbe zdravstvenega osebja vpliva na sposobnost obvladovanja nasilnih pacientov, in da so za obvladovanje nasilnega vedenja v zdravstvenih organizacijah v Sloveniji zaposleni pomanjkljivo usposobljeni.
V teoretičnem delu smo utemeljili termin nasilja in pojasnili pravne vidike nasilja v organizacijah. Ugotovili smo, da se slovenska zakonodaja zavezuje k urejanju tega področja in k izboljšanju položaja zaposlenih, vendar menimo, da ne obstaja celostni pristop, ki bi urejal problematiko nasilnih pacientov nad zdravstvenimi delavci, predvsem pri tistih, ki so visoko izpostavljeni nasilnemu vedenju pacientov.
Empirična raziskava je bila zasnovana na podlagi kvantitativnega raziskovanja, v katero so bili vključeni zdravstveni delavci na Univerzitetnem rehabilitacijskem inštitutu republike Slovenije – Soča, v Ljubljani. Pri preverjanju hipotez smo ugotovili, da za obvladovanje nasilnega vedenja zaposleni niso pomanjkljivo usposobljeni, po drugi strani pa so anketirani v večini trdili, da nivo izobrazbe pomembno vpliva na sposobnost obvladovanja nasilnih pacientov.
V sklepnem delu magistrskega dela smo na osnovi ugotovitev podali predloge za izboljšave raziskane problematike ter opozorili na nujnost internega usposabljanja in izobraževanja zdravstvenih delavcev, da lahko učinkoviteje rešujejo spore in nasilna vedenja pacientov.

Legal aspects of violent patients on healthcare workers |

In this masters degree we researched legal aspects of violent patients on workers in health system. We were focused on the hypothesis, that legal regulations are necessary and have significant effects on the reduction of violence towards healthcare workers. Furthermore we posed two additional hypotheses, that the level of staff education has an impact on the capability for successful dealing with violent patients, and that in Slovenia helthcare workers do not have enough of knowledge regarding management of violence.
In the theoretical part of the study we determined the term of violence and explained legal aspects of violence in organisations. We came to conclusion, that Slovenian legislation is prone for improvement of this area, but in our opinion, there is no proper approach which would manage such a problem for health workers exposed to violent behaviour.
Empirical part of the study was based on the quantitative research, in which health employees of the University rehabilitation institute, Republic of Slovenia - Soča in Ljubljana were included. Going through hypotheses we came to conclusion, that health employees are mostly not lacking the knowledge how to confront violent patients. On the other hand respondents, in most cases claimed, that the level of education does have an important impact on the capability for successfuly dealing with such patients.
In conclusion based on the study results, we presented proposals for improvements in this researched problematics, and emphasized the importance of the internal employee education within each individual health organisation, for more efficiently dealing with this particular problems inside health institutions. |
