Povzetek

V diplomskem projektu smo s pomočjo raziskave domače in tuje literature podrobneje predstavili družinsko podjetje. Navedli smo tipične značilnosti in lastnosti, po katerih se družinsko podjetje razlikuje od nedružinskega. Predstavili smo prednosti in slabosti družinskih podjetij ter kako družinska podjetja vplivajo na gospodarstvo in družbo. V družinskem podjetju je v ospredju družina, zato smo predstavili, kakšna je njena vloga v tej vrsti podjetja ter kako lahko družinski odnosi vplivajo na družinsko podjetje. V nadaljevanju teoretičnega dela smo se osredotočili na največji problem, s katerim se soočajo družinska podjetja, to je nasledstvo. Opredelili smo, kdo vse ima na splošno možnost naslediti družinsko podjetje ter kako poteka nasledstveni proces. Nato smo navedli še možne vplive in težave, ki lahko nastanejo pri izbiri naslednika ali v procesu nasledstva. V praktičnem delu diplomskega projekta smo teoretična izhodišča povezali z izbranim raziskovanim družinskim podjetjem PM, s. p. Predstavili smo zgodovino podjetja PM, s. p., in kako se je skozi čas razvijalo. Opredelili smo tudi značilnosti družinskega podjetja PM, s. p., njegove prednosti in slabosti. Nato smo podrobneje predstavili člane družine, njihove vloge v podjetju in družinske odnose med člani družine. Opredelili smo podjetniško naravnanost članov preučevane družine. Navedli smo, kako v družinskem podjetju PM, s. p., planirajo nasledstvo, kakšne možnosti izbire naslednika ima lastnik podjetja, ki razmišlja o svoji upokojitvi, pa tudi kaj vpliva na njegovo izbiro. Za zaključek smo podali še predloge za prenos podjetja, ki bi lahko koristili družinskemu podjetju PM, s. p.

Sekundarni povzetek:	In the thesis we will present in detail the concept of family business with the help of literature research. We will specify the typical characteristics and show the differences between family business and non-family business. We also present the advantages and disadvantages of family business and explain how family businesses affect the economy and society. The family is at the forefront of the family business, therefore we will present what is its role in the company and how can family relationships affect the company. In the second part of the theoretical work, we will focus on the biggest problem faced by family businesses, which is the succession. We will define who is generally in a position to inherit the company and how the succession process takes place. Furthermore, we will indicate the possible effects and problems that may arise during the choice of the successor or in the succession process. In the practical part of the thesis, we will associate the theoretical starting points with the selected research of family company PM, s. p. We will present the history of PM, s. p. and how it evolved over time. We will define the characteristics of the family company PM, s. p., its strengths and weaknesses. Next, we will present the members of the family, their roles in the company, and the family relations between family members. We will also define their entrepreneurial orientation. We will present how the company is planning succession in the selected company, what choices does the posing owner of the company have and what influences its choice. In conclusion, we will also present proposals for the transfer of a company that could be of use to the family company PM, s. p.
