Povzetek

Trgovina na drobno omogoča preskrbo prebivalstva, saj ponuja veliko različnih prodajaln z različnimi izdelki, ki jih posamezniki potrebujemo za življenje. V magistrski nalogi obravnavamo trgovine na drobno na splošno, podrobneje se osredotočamo na diskontne prodajalne, v tretjem delu naloge pa proučujemo življenjske trende na področju trgovine na drobno, podrobneje v diskontnih prodajalnah. Ne glede na to kje in na kakšen način trgovec prodaja izdelke oz. storitve neposredno končnemu odjemalcu gre za maloprodajo oz. trgovino na drobno. V nalogi smo se osredotočili predvsem na diskontne prodajalce, ki se v zadnjih letih močno razvijajo in povečujejo svoje tržne deleže po vsem svetu. V Evropi so najbolj znani diskontni verigi Aldi in Lidl, ki jih poznamo tudi v Sloveniji. Aldijev je Hofer, Lidl poznamo kot Lidl, poleg teh dveh diskonterjev pa imamo tudi italijanski Eurospin. Glede na to, da je naloga nastajala v času epidemije »korona« virusa, ne moremo mimo tega, saj močno vpliva na trgovino na drobno na različne načine. Vsekakor se je prodaja živilskih izdelkov močno povečala, saj so si ljudje delali zaloge in s tem močno povečali prodajo. V tekstilnem svetu pa se je prodaja v fizičnih prodajalnah povsem ustavila, nedvomno pa se je povečala spletna prodaja. Vemo, da vse prodajalne ne ponujajo spletne trgovine, zato je ta epidemija nekatere trgovce na drobno močno prizadela. Veliko prodajaln pa se je v tem kriznem obdobju odločila uvesti spletno trgovino, to so bile razne manjše privatne poslovalnice, ena izmed najbolj znanih je trgovina Mass, ki prodaja čevlje in torbice. Prav to je eden izmed najpopularnejši trendov na trgu trgovin na drobno. Zadnji del naloge pa smo posvetili raziskavi, ki temelji na raziskovanju trendov pri diskontnih trgovcih. S pomočjo vprašalnika, ki ga najdemo v prilogi smo vprašali 104 naključne ljudi, ki so ga rešili in tako smo pridobili rezultate, ki jih opisujemo v zadnjem poglavju naloge. Anketa je bila spletna, na portalu 1ka, s pomočjo tega smo tudi iz portala v nalogo uvozili grafične prikaze rezultatov.

Sekundarni povzetek: Retail sale supplies the needs of the population, and offers a wide variety of stores selling various products that people need in order to live. In the first part of the master´s thesis, we present some general aspects of retail sale, and concentrate furthermore on discount stores. In the third part of the thesis, greater importance is placed on examining life trends in the field of retail industry, or more particularly, in the field of discount stores. Regardless where or by what means the products and services are sold or provided directly to the final consumers, that sale process is called retail sale. In the thesis, we primarily focus on discount retailers and retail stores, which have heavily expanded their businesses and have managed to increase their market shares substantially in the past few years. The most widespread European supermarket chains are Aldi and Lidl. In Slovenia, these two are considered the most popular discount supermarkets. Beside Lidl and Aldi (known as Hofer in Slovenia), Slovenes also like to visit Italian Eurospin. We cannot ignore the fact that the master´s thesis was written at the time of coronavirus pandemic, which has heavily influenced the current retail industry trends. Without a doubt, grocery sales have increased significantly, as people began stocking up on for the coronavirus. As a result, retail sales have climbed sharply. On the other hand, with physical stores being temporarily closed, there has been a steep decline in the textile industry. Meanwhile, online sales have risen rapidly. Nonetheless, not all retail stores offer their products online which has left a strong negative impact on some retailers. During the corona crisis, a large number of retailers has therefore decided to launch an online store. These were mostly smaller retail stores, such as Mass, the popular footwear store. This may well belong to one of the most popular current industry trends in retail. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to our sample survey based on examining industry retail trends. Information was gathered by means of a questionnaire attached in the appendix. Through an online survey of 104 randomly chosen people, we obtained our survey results that are presented in the final section. Our web survey was conducted using the opensource application 1KA, which also includes graphical representations of the survey results.
