diplomsko delo
Povzetek
Posebne enote so pomemben element hibridnega vojskovanja. Hibridno vojskovanje združuje konvencionalno in nekonvencionalno vojskovanje.
V analitičnem delu so analizirane posebne enote Združenih držav Amerike in Rusije in navedene ugotovitve glavnih razlik, ki jih ločujejo v načinu hibridnega vojskovanja.

Comparative analysis of the use of special units of selected countries as a part of a hybrid war |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
Special forces are an important element hybrid warfare. Hybrid warfare combines conventional and unconventional warfare. Special forces, however, are part of unconventional warfare. They carry out unconventional warfare, even though they are part of the conventional military, which is just one of many contradictions that are interesting. Hybrid warfare in the modern world has once again aroused interest in special units in cases such as the 2014 events in Crimea and the special Operation Neptune Spear. Hybrid warfare is becoming more and more important as technology advances so do new ways of warfare.
Special forces are a reflection of the society that surrounds them, so their tactics and actions are reflected in their way of operating. Special forces are also affected by the advancement of unconventional warfare, because with technology and general advances, warfare innovation also occurs. Hybrid warfare has become a major part of modern-day warfare, as it is used more because of complex policies and relationships between countries.
The aim of this diploma thesis is to compare the special units of Russia and the United States of America, which are different in many ways, such as in the use of equipment, philosophy, tactics, covert operations, history and composition, to determine what separates them and in what direction has hybrid warfare developed in these environments.
In the analytical part, I analyzed the special units of the United States and Russia and identified the main differences that distinguish them in aspects of hybrid warfare. I have found that in Russia hybrid warfare, or Hybrid war is interpreted differently than in the United States of America, which explains the difference in tactics and implementation of special forces. The special forces of the two countries differ mainly because of their different philosophies and histories. |
