Podatke smo analizirali in predstavili s pomočjo grafov in tabel. Anketiranci so imeli v povprečju največ težav z obilo izločka (PV = 1,96) in s kašljem (PV = 1,96).

Sekundarni naslov: Measures to prevent respiratory infections at tracheostomized patients
Sekundarni povzetek: Introduction: A tracheostomy is a surgically made opening in the neck that allows patients to breathe. However, because the opening is not protected, air can enter freely without being preheated, humidified and cleaned. This is why patients with tracheostomy are more susceptible to respiratory infections, which are the most common among problems and are also considered to be one of the most difficult to treat. Our aim is to determine how successfully patients put their knowledge of measures into everyday life and whether adherence to measures also brings with it a lower incidence of respiratory infections. Methods: The final work is based on a quantitative research methodology. A study was conducted on the topic of knowledge and consideration of measures and the possible morbidity of respiratory infections in patients with tracheostomy. A survey was compiled based on a review of the scientific literature and was used as a research tool. Data were analyzed and presented with graphs and tables. Results: At the time of the tracheostomy, 41,8 % of patients already got over a respiratory infection. Respondents had, on average, the most problems with copious discharge (AV = 1.96) and cough (AV = 1.96). Those problems were associated with the lack in measure of aspiration knowledge and lack in knowledge of the measure of humidification. We calculated that 59.6 % of patients do not know the measures well enough. As many as 74.1 % want more additional knowledge and materials on the topic of respiratory infections and more methods to prevent them. Discussion and conclusion: The incidence of respiratory infections in patients with tracheostomy should be investigated more. Additional training of nurses would be required.
