Sekundarni naslov: Cervicogenic dizziness
Sekundarni povzetek: Introduction and purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to get an overview of the field of cervicogenic dizziness and to find relevant literature regarding the subject. The aim of the thesis is to find links between dizziness and functional tests and to present its causes and diagnostic tests. Methods: WebMed, ScienceDirect, PEDro, Google Scholar and COBISS + were used for literature search. An overview of articles not older than 10 years is presented in a table. Results: Ten articles were selected for data analysis based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. We found recommendations for performing multiple tests simultaneously and linking the results. We also found that there are many tests show good specificity, but in order to reach even better specificity and more objective results, multiple tests need to be performed at the same time. Cervicogenic dizziness is more common in patients with a traumatic neck injury (whiplash injury). With these tests, we can get a good understanding of the structural problems from which the symptoms originate. Usability: Presentation of the latest approaches for physiotherapeutic detection and treatment of cervicogenic dizziness, based on the findings of professional and scientific literature. Limitations: When selecting the articles, we were limited by their age. In certain articles, full text was not available or it was not possible to discern which data referred exclusively to cervicogenic dizziness.
