(diplomsko delo)
Povzetek
Izhodišča: Pomanjkanje spanja je velik problem v današnjem svetu. Skupina, ki spanje še posebej zanemarja so študenti.
Metode: V teoretičnem delu zaključne naloge smo uporabili deskriptivno oz. opisno metodo dela, v empiričnem delu pa kvantitativno metodologijo s filozofijo pozitivizma. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo spletne ankete. V obravnavo smo vključili 103 ankete. Podatke smo analizirali in grafično prikazali s pomočjo programa Microsoft Excel.
Študenti so s svojim ležiščem zadovoljni.

Sleeping habits of nursing students |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
Introduction: Lack of sleep is a big problem in today’s world. Students are the group that especially neglects sleep.
Methods: In the theoretical part of the final task we used a descriptive method of work, and in the empirical part - quantitative methodology with the philosophy of positivism. The data was obtained through an online survey. We included 103 surveys. The data was analyzed and graphically displayed using Microsoft Excel.
Results: We found that nursing students do not sleep the recommended number of hours, which is a problem mainly during the working week, since they spend less time sleeping than at weekends or during days off. During the weekend and days off, they go to bed late and they also wake up late. Most of them (34 %) need 10 minutes to fall asleep. Few times a month half of the students have trouble sleeping. The quality of their sleep is mostly affected by stress. As many as 53.4 % of students often feel tired. Occasionally, 55 % of students enjoy an afternoon nap. According to them, it takes 7-8 hours of sleep to feel rested. 55 % of them occasionally have difficulty concentrating. 92 % of them believe that sleep affects mood. During the exam period, students sleep less than usual. Before going to bed, most of them use their telephones, which as many as 96 % of them have in the bedroom. The most popular sleeping position is on the side. The students are satisfied with their beds.
Discussion: Unhealthy sleeping habits negatively affect students. If they want better sleep, they need to change their sleeping habits and be aware of the consequences of lack of sleep. |
