Sekundarni povzetek: | This master’s thesis presents how different mixing parameters can affect the overall mixing quality in a neutralization process in a mechanically stirred vessel using a pitched blade turbine. It is shown how vessel and impeller design can influence mixing efficiency in various end products and their final properties. Simulations are performed to get a rough overview of a single phase mixing in an eccentric stirred vessel using a pitched blade downward turbine. Some suggestions are made on how a mixing process can be optimized. The simulations were performed with COMSOL®. |
