Povzetek

Namen magistrske naloge je zasnovati mladinski center z navezavo na obstoječi hotel Trst. Obravnavano območje je locirano v center mesta Rogaška Slatina, ki smo ga v uvodnem delu magistrske naloge podrobno opisali in predstavili. Za razumevanje postavitve arhitekture v urbanizem obstoječega območja je potrebno razumevanje zgodovine in razvoj Rogaške Slatine. Nova arhitekturna zasnova predstavlja možnost povezovanja območja z mestom. V teoretičnem delu se posvečamo zgodovini in urbanističnemu razvoju mesta Rogaška Slatina ter zasnovi zelenih streh in projektiranju mladinskega centra. Na podlagi ugotovljenih podatkov smo izluščili bistvene dejavnike in parametre, ki so upoštevani v arhitekturnem in urbanističnem oblikovanju območja. Ker je obstoječe območje urejeni park, a je le-ta brez delujočega programa, se mladinski dom komponira v območje ter njegova streha postane del parka, ki pa ni le za mlade, temveč za vse prebivalce mesta in turiste. Naloga predstavlja preplet narave in arhitekture ter idejno zasnovo in premislek o nadaljnjem razvoju območja.

Sekundarni povzetek:	The purpose of the master’s thesis is designing a youth center with connection of the existing hotel Trst. Area is in the center of the town Rogaška Slatina, which we described and presented in the introductory part of the master’s thesis. To understand the placement of architecture in urbanism of the location is necessary to understand history and development of Rogaška Slatina. New architectural design represents the possibility of connecting the area of hotel Trst with the city. In the theoretical part we focus on the history and urban development of the city, design of green roofs and how to design youth centers. Based on the established data, we extracted the essential factors and parameters that are taken into the consideration of the architectural and urban design of the area. Since the existing area is a landscaped park without a working program, the youth center is composed into and area and its roof become part of the park and part of the area around. Roof is not used only by young people but for all city residents and tourists. The task represents the connection between nature and architecture as well as the conceptual design and consideration of the further development of the area.
