Podatki so bili zbrani s pomočjo ankete in analizirani s pomočjo ustreznih statističnih metod. Koristi m-zdravja so bile bolj prepoznane s strani žensk, mlajših, nižje izobraženih in tistih, ki že imajo izkušnje z uporabo m zdravja. To predstavlja omejitev naše raziskave, a kljub temu ugotovitve prispevajo k boljšemu vpogledu v odnos uporabnikov do m-zdravja.

Sekundarni povzetek: M-health applications collect large amounts of user data that can be very sensitive. This raises concerns about how data is collected, stored and processed. Several studies have found that many m-health apps fail to provide adequate protection for user privacy. Despite that, the development and use of such apps are growing from year to year. Therefore, we were interested in users’ attitudes and perceptions of m-health, both in terms of usability and benefits, as well as in terms of threats and vulnerabilities. In addition, we were also interested in whether there are any differences between different demographic groups, and between the users and non-users of m-health apps. Data were collected through a survey and analysed using appropriate statistical methods. In total, 671 respondents participated in the survey. The survey found that 45 % of respondents have already used m health apps in the past or are still using them. The results of the analysis showed that the majority of respondents are aware of the potential risks, but only a few actively try to protect their data. Despite the risks, most continue to use mobile applications, which can be understood as a privacy paradox. The benefits of m-health have been more recognized by women, young people, the less educated and those who already have experience with the use of m health. More concerns about the privacy, safety and quality of m-health apps were expressed by the elderly, more educated and those who have not yet used m-health. Because our sample is not representative, we cannot generalize our findings to the entire population. While this is a limitation of our research, the findings still contribute to a better understanding of user attitudes and perceptions of m-health.
