Sekundarni naslov: Reducing meat consumption among young people in Slovenia living in an independent household
Sekundarni povzetek: Flexitarianism has been present among us for several decades, as a way of eating it has not yet fully come to the fore and is therefore a little less known among the general public, but no less practiced. Flexitarianism means a gradual or partial reduction or municipal consumption of meat, but it is not a complete abandonment. With my analysis, I wanted to find out whether this way of eating is also present in Slovenia, especially among young people who live in an independent household and in what way they practice this kind of eating. The most important finding of the analysis shows that young people living in a self-employed household make a cut in their old way of eating by eating smaller amounts of meat, eating meat substitutes, eating more vegetables and in some way avoiding certain types of meat. With their new ways of eating, however, they somehow consciously or unconsciously try to influence the eating habits of the people around them. The results of my master's thesis contribute to a new view of the eating habits of young people living in an independent household in Slovenia.
