(magistrsko delo)

Sekundarni naslov: Respecting patients´ rights at the time of the covid-19 pandemic
Sekundarni povzetek: Abstract Introduction: The master thesis presents COVID-19 pandemic/epidemic period in the area of health care where despite limitations on the work field, patient rights had to be respected under the ZPacP. Method: The research is based on quantitative work methodology. As a measuring instrument we used the survey questionnaire and hypotheses were tested using the statistical program SPSS V24. Results: We have concluded that there are no statistically significant differences between the health centers included in the study and their correlation with respecting individual patient rights from the ZPacP during the COVID-19 pandemic/epidemic. We confirmed that there is a strong statistically significant positive correlation between satisfaction with the organization of the health service at the health center during the COVID-19 virus pandemic/epidemic and the assessment of visits and treatment at the health center during the COVID-19 virus pandemic/epidemic. Results showed negative correlation between surveyed patients who are aware of patient rights to be less satisfied with the visit and treatment in the health center during the pandemic / epidemic of the COVID-19, versus patients who are not aware of patients' rights or they are only partially acquainted with them. Discussion and conclusion: Although the results do not indicate any major violations of patient rights during the COVID-19 pandemic/epidemic, the protection of patient rights must always be on the optimal level, even during epidemics. When taking measures to contain the epidemic, one of the main concerns should be protecting patient rights . Otherwise the measures that were taken to protect peoples health and well being againts epidemic would put people in need of medical attention and health care at ris.
