Povzetek
V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge je poudarek na družini kot osnovni in nezamenljivi celici družbe, v kateri poteka vzgoja in skrb za otroke. Člani družine se sproti razvijajo in dopolnjujejo v čustvenem doživljanju, v spoznavnih izkušnjah, v oblikovanju socialne podobe in osebne rasti vsakega od družinskih članov. Vendar ne obstaja le en tip družine. Danes imamo v Sloveniji tako kot drugod v Evropi opraviti z raznovrstnostjo oblik in načinov družinskega življenja. Eden od njih je rejniška družina. Namen rejništva je, da se otrokom, ki so bili mnogokrat zanemarjeni in tako ali drugače zlorabljeni, omogoči zdrava rast, izobraževanje, skladen osebnostni razvoj ter usposobitev za samostojno življenje in delo. Rejniška družina ima ob sprejemu rejenca težko nalogo. Osebnostni razvoj rejenca je namreč zaradi nefunkcionalnosti matične družine lahko hudo ogrožen. Rejniški otroci so bili mnogokrat razočarani, ogoljufani in zatajeni, zaradi tega rejniške starše preizkušajo in od njih pričakujejo takšno ravnanje, ki bi jim povrnilo osnovno zaupanje, da je svet vendarle dober. Nezadovoljstvo, uporništvo in razočaranje se pri njih kažejo kot različne oblike čustvenih in vedenjskih težav, ki jih izražajo z disocialnim vedenjem. Empirični del diplomske naloge se nanaša na rezultate, pridobljene z anketnim vprašalnikom. Ta je bil opravljen na vzorcu 12 rejnikov in 32 rejencev z območja pristojnega Centra za socialno delo Slov. Bistrica. Za potrditev odgovorov anketnega vprašalnika smo uporabili še individualni vodeni intervju s pristojno socialno delavko na omenjenem centru.

Psychological characteristics of children in foster care |

In the theoretical part of the diploma work there is an ephasis on a family as a fundamental and inexchangeable society cell where upbringing and care for children takes place. The family members evolve and simultaneously complete in emotional experience as well as in cognitive experience, in social image formation and personal growth of each family member. However, there is not just one family type in existence. Nowadays, in Slovenia and other European parts, there are several forms and manners of family life to deal with. One of those manners is foster family. Foster family care is a special form of children care and their upbringing, which is defined by law of a country. The goal of foster care is to ensure the children, who were neglected or abused in one way or another, a healthy growth, education, suitable personality development and independant life and work qualification. A foster family has a difficult job accepting a foster child. However, a foster child's personality development could be badly endangered because of his or her disfunctional original family. Foster children were dissapointed, cheated and denied several times . That is the reason for the foster parents to be tested and expected to return those children a basic trust in the world to be good nevertheless. Those children's discontent, revolt and disappointment are pointed out as different forms of emotional and behaviour problems which are pointed out by their self-seeking behaviour. The empiric part of the diploma work consists of the results acquired from the questionnaire composed by ourselves. 12 foster families and 32 foster children from the Slovenska Bistrica Social Services region were investigated. We have also carried out an interview with the authoritative social worker from the abovementioned social service. The interview was carried out just to confirm the questionnaire results. |
