Sekundarni povzetek: | The purpose of the graduation thesis was to take a closer look at the significance of headmastership and its influence on the quality of the education system. A research was carried out by means of a questionnaire on a sample of 170 teachers. By using a descriptive and causal non-experimental method of empirical pedagogic research approach, the opinion of teachers about the effect of a headmaster's character and management style on the quality of the education system was studied, as well as their influence on the relationship among the students' parents, school and social environment, and the headmaster's influence on school atmosphere and on implementing changes. Within this framework, the existence of differences with regard to the length of service and the teacher job roles was also studied. |
