Povzetek
Glavni cilj diplomske naloge je bil sintetizirati koordinacijske spojine bakrovega(II) acetata monohidrata (Cu(CH3COO)2·H2O) z metilamini. V eksperimetnalnem delu smo poskušali ponoviti sinteze štirih že sintetiziranih bakrovih kompleksov, ki zaradi takratnih objektivnih okoliščin niso bili popolno karakterizirani. Komplekse smo kooridnirali z ligandi metilamonijevega klorida (CH3NH3Cl), dimetilamonijevega klorida ((CH3)2NH2Cl) in trimetilamonijevega klorida ((CH3)3NHCl), v različnih množinskih razmerjih. Zaradi želje po odkritju morebitne nove koordinacijske spojine, smo v zaključnem delu uspešno izvedli reakcijo , kjer smo uporabili tetrametilamonijev fluorid tetrahidrat ((CH3)4NF·4H2O). Pri tem smo za topilo uporabili etanol, metanol in acetonitril. Sinteza je potekala na refluksu in z mešanjem pri sobni temperaturi. Nastale kristale kompleksov smo na koncu karakterizirali z rentgensko monokristalno analizo, infrardečo spektroskopijo in termogravimetrično metodo. Rezultati kažejo, da nam je uspelo sintetizirati že znane 4 koordinacijske spojine. Uspešni smo bili tudi pri sintezi novega kompleksa. Pri eksperimentalnem delu smo ugoto-vili, da je za ponovitev sintez že znanih koordinacijskih spojin potrebna visoka preciznost pri odmerjanju kemikalij saj nam je po večih poizkusih le to omogočilo uspešnost pri delu.

The main goal of the thesis was to synthesize copper(II) acetate monohydrate (Cu(CH3COO)2·H2O) coordination compounds with methylamines. In the experimental part, we attempted to replicate the syntheses of four previously synthesized copper complexes that were not fully characterized due to objective circumstances at that time. We coordinated the complexes with ligands such as methylammonium chloride (CH3NH3Cl), dimethylammonium chloride ((CH3)2NH2Cl), and trimethylammonium chlo-ride ((CH3)3NHCl), in various stoichiometric ratios. In order to discover potential new co-ordination compounds, we used tetramethylammonium fluoride tetrahydrate ((CH3)4NF·4H2O). Ethanol, methanol, and acetonitrile were used as solvents. The synthesis was carried out by refluxing and mixing at room temperature. The resulting crystals of the complexes were characterized using X-ray single-crystal analysis, infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric method. The results show that we were able to synthesize four known coordination compounds. We were also successful in synthesizing one new complex. In the experimental part, we found that high precision in measuring chemicals is necessary to replicate synthesis of known coordination compounds, as it took us several attempts to achieve favourable results. |
