Sekundarni povzetek: | The thesis aimed to study the Schiff base condensation reaction between substituted terephthalaldehyde and 1,4-diphenylamine to prepare poly(azomethine)-based polyHIPE foams. Π-conjugated polyHIPE foams were prepared by polymerization of high-internal phase emulsions (HIPE) templates. The synthesised polymer foams were purified by Soxhlet extraction with methanol. The successful synthesis of poly(azomethine) based foams was further analysed by spectroscopic techniques such as FTIR analysis, DR UV/Vis analysis and solid-state 13C CP/MAS NMR spectroscopy. The morphological properties were checked by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The density and porosity of the polymer were determined by He pycnometry. The pore distribution and specific surface area were determined by nitrogen physisorption. |
