Povzetek
V magistrskem delu smo proučili, kako bo razvoj modernih tehnologij vplival na logistiko oskrbovalnih verig v težnji po zmanjšanju njene odvisnosti od fosilnih goriv. Učinkovitejše tehnologije pogona in sistemi krmiljenja vozil se hitro razvijajo in spreminjajo do sedaj poznano mobilnost. Širša prizadevanja za razogljičenje transporta, ki so trenutno v največji meri naslovljena in vidna v Evropi ter Združenih državah Amerike, so ključno vezana na zmožnosti ponudbe alternativnih tehnologij prevoza. Pri tem imajo pomembno vlogo poleg politike še viri energentov in surovin, ki so potrebni za delovanje novih pogonskih sklopov. Elektrifikacija je tesno povezana predvsem z rudninami redkih zemelj – te so ključne za izdelavo baterijskih električnih vozil, ki bodo v segmentu alternativnih pogonov najverjetneje dobila delež in krojila prihodnost cestnega transporta; slednje kljub napovedim zaenkrat ne pomeni umika dizelskih in bencinskih motorjev.
V magistrskem delu smo opravili primerjavo celokupnih izpustov za dve obetavni tehnologiji, definirali zmožnosti proizvodnje obnovljivih virov energije in ponazorili ogljični odtis dejavnikov, ki so trenutno največji povzročitelji emisij. Analizirali smo trende v logistiki, ki so vezani na tehnološke inovacije, proizvodne zmožnosti, vladne politike in ekonomsko upravičenost ‒ podkrepili smo jih z anketnim vprašalnikom o rabi modernih tehnologij med slovenskimi prevozniki. Prednosti prehoda na električni pogon se izkazujejo predvsem v bistveno boljši energetski učinkovitosti alternativnih tehnologij in krepitvi energetske neodvisnosti za posamezne države oz. širše regije, medtem ko izzive predstavlja predvsem tehnološka zmožnost čiste proizvodnje, virov surovin in prilagoditev energetskega ter cestnega omrežja. Prehod na nove vire se bo odvil in uspel, če bodo nove tehnologije ponujale boljše rešitve mobilnosti od sedanjih ‒ za manj denarja z manj izpusti, čemur še ni tako. Modernizacija transporta bo čistejše oblike sprva uvedla v cestnem transportu, ki najbolj onesnažuje zaradi svoje narave praktičnosti. Poleg tehnologij pa bo transport z uporabo umetne inteligence postajal vse bolj avtonomen, kar bo prevoznike razbremenilo v primanjkljaju voznikov in omogočilo večjo pretočnost ter varnost v prometu.

The impact of modern technologies on supply chain logistics |

In this master thesis, we have examined how the development of modern technologies will affect supply chain logistics (in particular) in the drive to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels. More efficient propulsion technologies and vehicle control systems are rapidly evolving and are changing mobility as we know it. Wider efforts to decarbonise transport, currently most addressed and visible in Europe and the United States, are crucially linked to the supply capacity of alternative transport technologies. In addition to policy, the sources of energy and raw materials needed to operate new powertrains also play an important role. Electrification is closely linked in particular to rare earth minerals, the key to the production of battery electric vehicles in particular, which are likely to gain share in the alternative propulsion segment and shape the future of road transport, which, despite predictions, does not yet mean the phasing out of diesel and petrol engines.
The Master's thesis compares the total emissions of two promising technologies, describes the potential of renewable energy production and shows the carbon footprint of the factors that are currently the largest emitters. It presents trends in logistics linked to technological innovation, production capacity, government policies and economic viability, and is supported by a survey on the use of modern technologies among Slovenian haulers. The benefits of going electric are mainly in the significantly improved energy efficiency of alternative technologies and in strengthening energy independence for individual countries or wider regions, while the challenges are mainly in the technological capacity for clean generation, raw material sources and the adaptation of the energy and road networks. The transition to new sources will take place and succeed if new technologies will offer better mobility solutions than current ones for less money with fewer emissions, which is not yet the case. Modernising transport will initially offer cleaner forms for road transport, which is the most polluting due to its inherently practical nature. In addition to technology, transport will become increasingly autonomous through the use of artificial intelligence, which will relieve transport operators of the shortage of drivers and allow for greater fluidity and safety in transport. |
