Sekundarni povzetek: The World Wide Web is one of the most interesting and useful tools in today's world. Various online resources contain a huge amount of information that is useful in various areas. In addition to the basic capabilities these resources can be data mined and integrated together. With integration of different sources, it is possible to get new useful information and produce a variety of useful applications. The central theme of the thesis are the various online resources and possibilities of their mining and integration. It focuses on the resources that offer information on persons in Slovenia. There is a comprehensive overview of Slovenian data sources. Overview includes information about the source, the information provided by the source and technique required for the acquisition of these data. There is more than one possibility of data integration and they are described in the thesis. One of the possible integration of resources is then realized in the form of web application. Search engine that takes first and last name as input and searches across various online sources for information about that person is implemented. Acquired data from different data sources is then integrated and shown in on place. In addition, based on the analysis of articles, application shows people who appear in the articles together with the searched person.
