Povzetek
Stres na delovnem mestu predstavlja resen problem tako z vidika posameznika kot organizacije. Pri pregledu literature smo s pomočjo sekundarnih virov definirali vrste stresa, poiskali najpogostejše simptome in podrobneje opisali vzroke stresa na delovnem mestu, kot so nepošten odnos in pritisk vodstva, nezadostno število virov in časa, prevelika in zahtevna delovna obremenitev, neustrezno plačilo in konflikt med vlogami. Proučili smo poglavitne posledice stresa na delovnem mestu na ravni posameznika in organizacije ter načine spopadanja s stresom.
V raziskovalnem delu smo s pomočjo teoretičnih izhodišč preverjali prisotnost stresa na delovnem mestu, njegove ključne dejavnike ter simptome, metode in tehnike obvladovanja stresa posameznika in organizacije. V namen raziskave smo izvedli anketo med zaposlenimi iz različnih organizacij, analiza rezultatov pa je pokazala, v kolikšni meri udeleženci doživljajo stres na delovnem mestu. Razlike med doživljanjem stresa in spolom ter povezanosti med doseženo stopnjo izobrazbe in doživljanjem stresa nismo potrdili zaradi neenakomerne zastopanosti anketirancev. Na podlagi rezultatov smo tudi ugotovili najpogostejše simptome, ki se pojavljajo med udeleženci, prav tako načine, ki pripomorejo k zmanjševanju stresa na ravni posameznika in organizacije. K temu smo podali še različna priporočila in ukrepe, ki so podrobneje opisani v nadaljevanju.

Workplace stress and its consequences at organisational level |

Workplace stress is a serious problem, both for the individual and for the organisation. In a literature review, we used secondary sources to define the types of stress, find the most common symptoms and describe in more detail the causes of workplace stress, such as unfair attitudes and pressure from management, insufficient resources and time, excessive and demanding workload, inadequate pay and role conflict. We have examined the main consequences of workplace stress at individual and organisational level and ways of coping with stress.
In the research part, the presence of workplace stress, its key determinants and the symptoms, methods and techniques of coping with individual and organisational stress were examined using theoretical frameworks. For the purpose of the research, a survey was conducted among employees from different organisations, and the results were analysed to determine the extent to which the participants experience stress at work. We could not confirm the difference between stress experience and gender and the relationship between educational level and stress experience due to the uneven representation of the respondents. Based on the results, we also identified the most common symptoms experienced by the participants, as well as ways to help reduce stress at the individual and organisational level. In addition, we have made various recommendations and actions, which are described in more detail below. |
