| Sekundarni povzetek: | The main goal of the thesis is to investigate the development and implemantation of a control algorithm for a battery energy storage system aimed at balancing the load profile of the Technical Faculties at the University of Maribor. The purpose of using the battery storage system is to reduce peak loads, thereby optimizing the costs of electrical energy. The battery system consists of lithium-ion cells of the lithium-titanate oxide type. The total power of the battery energy storage system is 100 kW, with an energy capacity of 68 kWh. The focus of the thesis is on developing a control algorithm for battery energy storage system to perform peak shaving and testing this algorithm on real system. |
