Sekundarni povzetek:	The diploma focuses on the organization of the performers of municipal activities. The purpose of this work is to research the field of economic public services and to analyze the current situation of municipal activities. This work deals with the organization of municipal activities like water supply, sewage, collection and carting off the waste and the maintenance of local roads. First part of the diploma presents the characteristics of municipal activities, the meaning of nomenclature of these activities, defines the terms of economic public service, public service and activities of special social significance. The fourth chapter deals with the transformation of the property of communal organizations and lists the reasons which lead to the transformation and privatization in Slovenia. In addition is a short description of the Law of economic public services from the year 1993, in which are in detail described types of economic public services and at the end also some significant critics of this law. Here is also review of municipal activities after the transformation and the privatization in Slovenia and a few suggestions, how to solve some problems of the current situation. The fifth chapter introduces the review of sources which deal with types of the performers of municipal activities in years 1981, 1999 and 2001. The last part of the assignment is an analysis of recent date.
