Sekundarni povzetek: The thesis features an analysis of the time development of compressive strength of fibre reinforced normal and high strength concrete. Concrete mixtures, taken from the doctoral dissertation of assistant Dr Drago Saje, were used as comparable mixtures to fibre reinforced concrete mixtures with different volume shares of fibres. Two types of steel fibres were used, both featuring the same characteristics but having different lengths (16 and 30 mm), as well as polypropylene fibres. The percentage of fibres in the concrete ranged from 0.5 to 2.0% of its volume. In addition to examining the influence of fibre on the development of compressive strength, fibre reinforced concrete of normal strength was also studied in terms of the influence of aggregate. Aggregates from queries in Kresnice and Laže were used. The time development of compressive strength was measured in 18 different concrete mixtures when the concrete was one day, three, seven, twenty-eight and ninety days old. External factors, such as climate conditions (temperature of the surroundings, relative humidity…) and the humidity of the spacimen also influence on the compressive strength of concrete. To take into account the influence of temperature, the compressive strength of concrete mixtures of normal and high strength was measured at different outside temperatures. The influence of the spacimen humidity on the magnitude of twenty-eight day compressive strength was analysed on spacimens taken out of water on the day of the examination, left to dry for differently long periods (0.25 hours, 2 hours, 24 hours), and then examined. Within the scope of our experimental research it was discovered that the fibres used in the experiment have little influence, considering both type and by quantity, on the time development of compressive strength of concrete.
