Characteristics of ellipses and oscillations are described in this graduation thesis. The main subject of graduation thesis are Hook's ellipses which were named after Robert Hooke, whose life and works are also slightly presented. The main purpose of this graduation thesis is to prove, that the pendulum which oscillates at the same time in two mutually perpendicular directions, forms an ellipse. It also includes the second physical example, where a part of Hooke's ellipse appears. Characteristics and area of Hooke's ellipses are also presented and visually shown in program tool GeoGebra. |

Povzetek (ePrints): |
V diplomskem delu so opisane značilnosti elips in nihanja. |
