delo diplomskega seminarja
Nato smo opisali dve najpogostejši poklicni bolezni.

Occupational safety and well-being of employees is encountered on every workplace. Both employees and employers must be familiar with rights and obligations applying to health and safe at work. Considering that occupational safety and health is an extensive field, the diploma seminar was divided to five sections. In the first part of diploma seminar we defined occupational health and safety in general. After that we described two most frequently occurring occupational diseases; stress and occupational burnout. In terms of occupational safety we defined fire safety, which is of central importance in every organization and must be observed by all employees. In the second part of the seminar we initially discussed accidents at work, after which regard to work hazard. The third part includes in-service training and education. In this part we discussed the quality of integration of training and work. Then we turned our focus to the course of the training process and forms and objectives of training. The fourth part presents new provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. And in the final part we summarized aspects and strategies of the European Union with regard to occupational health and safety by 2020. During the examination of the field of occupational health and safety we established that nowadays the number of employees linked to stress and occupational burnout is rising steeply. This has a major impact on their health. Further, we have established that the most common cause of work accidents originates from human error, although there are also other occupational risks and hazards present. Accidents can be reduced by implementing certain measures, legislation, promotion of occupational health and safety, ect. A key point here could be that accidents at work happen frequently and that they cannot be prevented. |
