Povzetek

V diplomskem delu smo proučevali podjetje Mower d.o.o., ki je resnično, obstaja in deluje, vendar smo ga zaradi varstva poslovnih podatkov preimenovali ter določene podatke o podjetju priredili. Temeljna dejavnost podjetja je prodaja motornih kosilnic, rezervnih delov in dodatne opreme trgovinskim podjetjem na drobno v Sloveniji. Podjetje na trgu nastopa kot prodajalec na debelo in svojim odjemalcem dobavlja proizvode, namenjene posameznikom, ki z njimi urejajo lastne bivalne okolice ter manjša kmetijska zemljišča. Na podlagi intervjuja z lastnikom podjetja, gospodom Janezom Pavlinom, proučevanja domačih in tujih avtorjev ter s prispevkom avtorja tega dela, smo najprej proučili trenutno politiko podjetja in strategije v podjetju ter zatem na obeh ravneh, na ravni politike podjetja in strateškega managementa, planirali razvoj podjetja Mower d.o.o. za prihodnjih pet let delovanja. Planiranje smo izvedli s predhodno analizo podjetja, njegovih notranjih ter zunanjih udeležencev, s proučitvijo prednosti in slabosti podjetja ter spoznavanjem priložnosti in nevarnosti, ki izvirajo iz okolja, v katerem podjetje deluje. Določili smo obstoječe in potencialno programsko-tržno področje ter ocenili njuno perspektivnost in konkurenčno sposobnost. Ugotovili smo, da je za podjetje priporočljivo in smiselno, če obstoječe PTP obdrži ter se hkrati posveti odprtju potencialnega. Skladno s tem smo za obe programsko-tržni področji najprej opredelili strategije, s katerimi bomo potencial izkoristili ter jih zatem s statičnimi in dinamičnimi kazalniki ekonomsko ovrednotili. Tudi v tem primeru smo ugotovili, da je prvo PTP smiselno obdržati in drugo PTP zagnati, saj so izračuni pokazali pozitivne prihodnje izide delovanja podjetja. V zadnjem koraku smo glede na planirane strategije določili tudi prihodnje strukture v podjetju ter pripravili program razvoja za naslednjih pet let delovanja.

Sekundarni povzetek: In this thesis we have studied company Mower Ltd. This is a real and operating company, which we have renamed and modified some information about it, because we have to protect business data. The main activity of the company is selling lawn mowers, spare parts and optional equipment to retail trade enterprises in Slovenia. The company operates on the market as a wholesaler, delivering products to customers who use them to maintain their living surroundings and small agricultural lands. Based on an interview with the owner of the company, Mr. Janez Pavlin, on the studies of domestic and foreign authors as well as on the contribution of this work, we first examined the current policies and strategies of the company and then planned at both levels (on the political and strategic) the development of company Mower Ltd. for the next five years of operation. Planning was done on the basis of a preliminary analysis of the company and its internal and external participants, by studying the strengths and weaknesses as well as recognizing the opportunities and threats arising from the environment in which the entity operates. We determined the existing and potential program-market segments and assessed their prospects and ability to compete. We have found that it is advisable and wise for the company to retain the existing program-market segment and at the same time commit itself to the opening of a potential program-market segment. Accordingly, we first defined the strategies for both program-market segments so as to take advantage of the potential and then evaluated these on the basis of statistic and dynamic economic indicators. In this case we also established that it would be reasonable to keep/ run both program-market segments, since the calculations showed positive results of the company’s future activities. In the last step we determined the structure of the company according to the planned strategy, and prepared a development program for the next five years of operation.
