Povzetek

Naraščanje prebivalstva in globalizacija povzročata, da število dejavnikov, ki jih mora podjetje upoštevati pri sprejemanju strateških odločitev, narašča, le ti pa postajajo čedalje bolj kompleksni. Razlikujejo se glede na to, v kateri panogi se podjetje nahaja. Vemo, da nekatere panoge še vedno niso našle izhoda iz krize in so razmere v njih še vedno negotove. Ena izmed njih je zagotovo gradbena panoga, ki je zelo pomembna za gospodarstvo in v katero sodi podjetje, ki smo ga izbrali za raziskavo. Vodenje podjetja v današnjem hitro se spreminjajočem poslovnem okolju poteka z uporabo novih upravljalnih pristopov in znanj na področju vodenja in organizacije. Planiranje ustanovitve in razvoja podjetja poteka na ravni politike podjetja kot snovanje, oblikovanje in izbira politike podjetja, na ravni strateškega managementa kot iskanje strateških možnosti in strategij, vrednotenje in izbira ter programiranje uresničitve planiranega razvoja in na koncu tudi na ravni izvedbenega managementa kot planiranje izvedbenih projektov. Uspešnost poslovanja podjetja je čedalje bolj odvisna od izbrane in oblikovane vizije, politike podjetja in izbranih strategij podjetja. Podjetje lahko dolgoročni razvoj obvladuje le s pomočjo strateškega upravljalnega procesa, strateške razvojne programe pa lahko uresničuje s pomočjo projektne dejavnosti. Podjetja se morajo namesto defenzivne politike osredotočiti na proaktivno politiko iskanja novih priložnosti oziroma konkurenčnih prednosti. V magistrskem delu so prikazani procesi in metode planiranja na ravni politike podjetja in na ravni strateškega managementa. Podrobneje je predstavljen pomen strateškega planiranja razvoja podjetja. Le to je povezano z iskanjem strateških možnosti in strategij, vrednotenjem in izbiro možnih strategij ter programiranjem uresničitve planiranega in planiranjem izvedbenih projektov. Vse to je prikazano na primeru izbranega podjetja. Po začetni proučitvi teoretičnih izhodišč smo analizirali gradbeno panogo in predstavili probleme, s katerimi se soočajo podjetja, ki sodijo vanjo. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili podjetje, analizirali njegove priložnosti in nevarnosti, prednosti in slabosti ter omenjeno primerjali tudi z dvema neposrednima konkurentoma v panogi. Izdelali smo predlog razvojne vizije, politike in strategij. V zaključni fazi strateškega planiranja smo izdelali program uresničitve razvoja podjetja za nadaljnja 3 leta. Ocenili smo predvidene izide in strukture ter izvedli ekonomsko vrednotenje strategij z upoštevanjem, da se podjetje nahaja v gradbeni panogi, ki je še vedno v krizi. Na kratko smo orisali tudi časovno trajanje projektov.

Sekundarni povzetek: Population growth in connection with globalisation force a company to take into account an ever more growing number of considerations when meeting its strategical decisions. It is needless to say that these considerations are becoming ever more complex. Nevertheless, they differ from company to company depending on the company’s field of operations. It is a well-established fact that some branches have still to find a way out of the current crisis and that their market positions are still dwindling. One of such branches most certainly has to be construction. As such it is one of economy's most vital parts and we had chosen a company from the field of construction for our research. Managing a company in today's fast changing market environment is done by way of using new managerial approaches and leadership skills in terms of staff and organisation. Planning the start-up and development of a company takes policies in terms of concepts, formation and choosing company's policies. In terms of strategic management one has to consider finding strategic options and strategies, this is followed by assessment and programming of company's planned development. Finally one has to consider the field of executional management as a tool to implement projects. A company's success is increasingly dependent on its choice of and formation of vision, company policy and strategies. A company is only able to control its long-term development by way of strategical managerial process. Its strategic developmental programmes can be put into realisation with the help of project activities. Instead of defensive policies, a company has to strive for proactive policies of finding new opportunities i.e. competitive advantages. This paper attempts to present planning processes and methods in the fields of company policy and strategic management. The importance of strategic planning in terms of company development is researched more minutely. The latter is closely connected to finding strategic options and strategies, assessment and choosing between possible strategies as well as programming the realisation of plans and planning of executable projects. All this is shown on the case of our chosen company. After having researched the theoretical groundwork we have analysed the field of construction branch and attempted to showcase its problems and challenges such companies are faced with. Furthermore, we try to showcase the company, analyse its opportunities and dangers, advantages and weaknesses as well as compare it to two direct competitors from the same field. In addition we have prepared a proposed developmental vision, policies and strategies. In the final phase of strategic planning a comprehensive 3 year plan for company's development has been put together which encompasses an assessment of probable outcomes and structures. In addition, an economical assessment of strategies by taking into account the company’s position within a branch still well within the current crisis has been prepared. In short we also show the time-duration of the projects.
