Povzetek
Namen magistrske naloge je sinteza nanodelcev zlitin (Cr, Cu)Ni s sol-gel metodo in oblačenje teh delcev. Sintetizirali smo Cr1-xNix in Cu1-xNix magnetne nanodelce z različnimi množinskimi sestavami: Cr1-xNix (x= 0.95, 0.90, 0.80, 0.75, 0.70, 0.65, 0.60), Cu1-xNix (x= 0.70, 0.675, 0.65). Po staranju in sušenju smo vzorce pod različnimi pogoji toplotno obdelali v peči BOSIO, nato pa še toplotno homogenizirali in reducirali v cevni peči (850 °C, 12 h) v redukcijski atmosferi H2./Ar. Nanodelce Cu1-xNix pri katerih smo za razliko od nanodelcev Cr1-xNix, dosegli primerno Curiejevo temperaturo (TC) smo izluževali iz silike z raztopinami NaOH, različnih množinskih koncentracij. Nato smo izlužene nanodelce Cu1-xNix »oblekli« v primeren surfaktant (oleilamin) in oblečene nanodelce dispergirali v ustreznem topilu.
Toplotno obdelanim, homogeniziranim in reduciranim nanodelcem zlitin (Cr, Cu)Ni smo z uporabo modificirane termogravimetrične analize (TGA) določali Curiejevo temperaturo, saj smo zaradi možne aplikacije v medicini (magnetna hipertermija) želeli sintetizirati nanodelce z ustrezno Curiejevo temperaturo.
Sintetizirane vzorce smo kvalitativno analizirali tudi s pomočjo rentgenske praškovne difrakcije (XRD), izlužene in dispergirane vzorce pa smo dodatno analizirali še z DLS (dinamično sipanje svetlobe), s pomočjo katerega smo določili zeta potencial in velikost nanodelcev, FTIR in TEM, s pomočjo katerih smo določali prisotnotnost silike.

The aim of the master thesis is sol-gel synthesis and coating of (Cr, Cu)Ni nanoparticles. We synthesized Cr1-xNix and Cu1-xNix magnetic nanoparticles of different alloy compositions: Cr1-xNix (x = 0.95, 0.90, 0.80, 0.75, 0.70, 0.65, 0.60), Cu1-xNix (x= 0.70, 0.675, 0.65). After drying and aging processes, the synthesized samples were exposed to thermal treatment in BOSIO oven at different conditions and afterwards they were exposed to thermal homogenization in a tube furnace at 850 °C for 12 hours in an H2/Ar reduction atmosphere.
Synthesized Cu1-xNix nanoparticles on the contrary with Cr1-xNix nanoparticles, had appropriate Curie temperature, therefore we leached the Cu1-xNix nanoparticles with different concentractions of NaOH. Afterwards we coated the leached nanoparticles with suitable surfactant (oleylamine) and then dispersed them in a suitable solvent.
Using the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), we determined the Curie tmperature (Tc) of CrNi and CuNi nanoparticles. We were looking for particles with appropriate Curie temperature, for using them in magnetic hyperthermia applications.
Using the X-ray diffraction (XRD), we qualitative determined the synthesized nanoparticles. We further analyzed leached and coated nanoparticles with Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), FTIR and TEM. |
