Povzetek

V nalogi smo iskali odgovore na vprašanja varnosti pri rabi mobilnih naprav med srednješolci. Mobilne naprave so v zadnjih petih letih postale močne računske naprave, ki so po moči povsem primerljive z računalniki. Postale so cenovno dostopne in nepogrešljive v vsakdanjem življenju srednješolcev. Narava delovanja omogoča uporabnikom hiter dostop do informacij in nenehno socialno interakcijo. Uporabniki upravljajo z velikimi količinami osebnih podatkov, ki zahtevajo uporabo ustreznih varnostnih mehanizmov in upoštevanje priporočil za varno rabo. S teoretičnim pregledom literature smo analizirali trenutno najpopularnejša operacijska sistema mobilnih naprav iOS in Android. Analiza je zajela zgodovino, zgradbo, varnostne mehanizme in način distribucije programske opreme. Obe platformi uporabnikom ponujata nabor programske opreme, ki pa ob neprevidni uporabi uporabnike izpostavljata določenim varnostnim tveganjem. Ta tveganja so obravnavana kot grožnje. Opisali smo nevarnosti pasivnega in aktivnega prestrezanja podatkov ob neprimerni rabi brezžičnih modulov, nevarnosti nameščanja okužene programske opreme, nevarnosti izgube naprave in principe delovanja škodljive programske opreme. Na podlagi teoretičnega pregleda groženj smo v empiričnem delu ugotavljali, kako tvegano mobilne naprave uporabljajo srednješolci. S pomočjo ankete smo izvedli raziskavo, ki je zajemala 283 srednješolcev. Vprašalnik smo poslali na srednje šole, ki nudijo različne izobraževalne programe. Anketa je zaobjela dijake TŠC Maribor, TŠC Nova Gorica, TŠC Kranj in dijake Srednje frizerske šole Ljubljana. Ob tem smo anketirance ciljno ločili glede na tip izobraževalnega programa, kjer smo program v grobem ločili na programe s poudarjenimi informacijskimi kompetencami in programe drugih strok. Vprašanja so se nanašala predvsem na načine in pogostost uporabe, pogostost srečevanja z morebitnimi viri okužbe, pogostostjo uporabe, upoštevanje varnostnih mehanizmov, poznavanje groženj in načini seznanjanja z grožnjami. Zanimalo nas je, ali se pojavlja odklon v strahu pred grožnjami med dijaki z informacijsko usmerjenimi programi in dijaki klasičnih programov. Na podlagi odgovorov sklepamo, da je poznavanje varnosti mobilnih naprav med srednješolci nizko. Z dobljenimi koraki smo podali priporočila za varnejšo rabo mobilnih naprav.

Sekundarni povzetek: In this work, we seek answers to questions on safe usage of mobile devices amongst high school pupils. In the last five years mobile devices have become powerful computational devices with power fully comparable with classical computers. They have become affordable and indispensable in the daily life of secondary school pupils. The nature of the operation allows users quick access to information and continuous social interaction. Users manage large amounts of data that require the application of appropriate security mechanisms with recommendations for safe usage. In theoretical literature review, we analyze currently the most popular mobile operating system iOS and Android devices. The analysis covers the history of the structure, security mechanisms and the software distribution manner. Both platforms offer users a set of software, but the careless use of certain exposes users with certain security risks. These risks are considered as threats. We described the dangers of passive and active interception by inappropriate use of wireless modules, the hazards of installing infected software, the risk of losing the device and the operating principles of known malicious software. Based on a theoretical review of the threats, the empirical part was used to observe how hazardous use of mobile devices amongst secondary school pupils is. Through the survey we carried out a research, which covered 283 high school students. The questionnaire was sent to secondary schools, which offer a variety of educational programs. The survey embraced students of TŠC Maribor, Nova Gorica TSC, TSC Kranj and Ljubljana vocational school for hairdressers. At the same time respondents were separated according to the type of training program, where the program was roughly separated into programs highlighting IT competencies and programs of other professions. Questions were related primarily to the ways and frequency of use, frequency of encountering potential sources of infection, frequency of use, compliance with security mechanisms, knowledge of threats and ways of informing about threats. We wanted to know whether there is occurring deviation in fear of threats among students with information targeted programs and students of traditional programs. Based on the responses suggest, that the knowledge about the safety of mobile devices among high school students is low. With obtained knowledge we made recommendations for safer use of mobile devices.
