Povzetek

Za diplomsko nalogo sem si izbral problem, s katerim sem se seznanil med študijsko prakso v podjetju Roto d.o.o., ki se ukvarja s predelavo plastičnih mas. Zaradi težnje po optimizaciji proizvodnega procesa in zmanjšanju stroškov nabave osnovnega materiala, sem v diplomski nalogi predstavil predlog posodobitve proizvodne linije za pripravo materialov za tehnološki proces rotoliv. V prvem delu naloge, ki je bolj teoretičen, sem opisal plastične mase, postopke preoblikovanja plastičnih mas ter pripravo materiala. V drugem delu diplomske naloge, sem predstavil podjetje Roto d.o.o., analiziral trenutne zmogljivosti priprave materiala in podal predlog posodobitve. Naredil sem kalkulacije in po analizi rezultatov prišel do sklepa, da je posodobitev proizvodne linije pravilna odločitev. S posodobitvijo, bi se zmanjšali stroški in povečala kakovost priprave plastičnih materialov.

Sekundarni povzetek:	For my dissertation I chose a problem, that I met during the practice at firm Roto d.o.o., which is engaged in processing of plastic materials. In my dissertation I presented the proposal to modernize the production line for the preparation of materials for the technological process of rotational moulding. This modernization is needed, because of the tendency to optimize the manufacturing process and to reduce the costs of purchasing the basic materials. In the first part of the thesis, which is more theoretical, I described plastic materials, transformation process of plastics and material preparation. In the second part I presented the company Roto d.o.o., analyzed the current capacity of the preparation of the material and described my proposed updates. I made calculations and analyzed the results. I came to the conclusion that modernization of the production line is the right decision. This modernization would reduce costs and increase the quality of the preparation of plastic materials.
