Povzetek
Kljub temu, da prodaja avtomobilov upada, Slovenci avtomobilov ne uporabljamo nič manj, ampak kvečjemu še več kot prej. Vsako drugo gospodinjstvo ima že vsaj enega, kar nas po številu prebivalcev postavlja v sam svetovni vrh. Razloge za nezmanjšano uporabo avtomobilov lahko morda pripišemo skromno razviti mreži javnega potniškega prometa, zagotovo pa so razlogi še širši in številčnejši. Prihranek, ki bi nastal ob opuščanju uporabe avtomobila, je v očeh ljudi manj pomemben, kot udobje, ki ga pridobijo z njegovo uporabo.
Prodaja avtomobilov v Sloveniji že nekaj let upada, da je kriza prisotna na vseh gospodarskih področjih ni potrebno posebej poudarjati. Zaradi trenutnih političnega in družbeno-socialnih razmer, smo ljudje postali bolj previdni, tudi nakupovalne navade smo posledično spremenili in tako povzročili, da denar ne kroži dovolj hitro, potrošnja pa se je v veliki meri zmanjšala.

Despite the fact that the amount of the cars sold has been decreasing, Slovenian people have not been using cars any less. Moreover, we have been using them even more often than before. Nowadays, every other household owns a car, which puts Slovenia on top of the world chart, considering the amount of the country's inhabitants. One of the many reasons for this is the poorly developed public transport. People seem to find the savings that would occur by not using cars as the main way of transport less important than the comfort that cars offer.
Car sales have been declining in Slovenia for several years and it does not need to be said that the economic crisis has been present in all sectors. Given the current political and social situation, people have become more cautious and have changed their shopping habits. Money has therefore not been circulating as fast as before and consumption has been greatly reduced. |
