Povzetek

V diplomskem projektu smo se osredotočili na rast in razvoj podjetja ter na življenjski cikel podjetja. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili definicijo in pomen rasti ter razvoja podjetja in predstavili življenjski cikel podjetja. Proučili smo različne modele podjetniške rasti ter se osredotočili na dve temeljni strategiji rasti podjetja – generično rast in diverzificirano rast podjetja, ki sta tudi v praksi najpogostejši. V aplikativnem delu diplomskega projekta smo na primeru podjetja Istenič d.o.o. analizirali razvojno stanje podjetja po modelu Pümpina in Prangeja ter ugotovili, da se podjetje nahaja med pionirsko fazo in fazo rasti. Kljub temu, da ima podjetje že dolgo tradicijo na trgu, ni nujno, da se nahaja v fazi zrelosti. S tem dokazujemo, da čeprav je podjetje uspešno in ima že dobro uveljavljene proizvode, ki jih prodaja v velikih količinah, v podjetju še naprej spodbujajo rast in nenehno iščejo nove proizvode, ki bi jih lahko ponudili na tržišču. To pa zato, ker se zavedajo, da je poslovni uspeh podjetja v veliki meri odvisen od potenciala podjetja za rast in nadaljnji razvoj.

Sekundarni povzetek: The diploma project we focused on the growth and development of the company and the life cycle of the company. In the theoretical part we presented the definition and importance of the growth and development of the company and presented the life cycle of the company. We exploration different models of business growth and focused on two basic strategy - a generic growth and diversified growth companies, which are in practice the most common. In applicative part of the graduate project, we are on the case of a company, Istenič d.o.o. analyze the development status of the company on the model of the Pümpina and Prangeja and found out that the company is located between the pioneering phase and the phase of growth. Despite the fact that the company has already a long tradition on the market, doesn't necessarily have to be located in the stage of maturity. With this we have proved that, even if the company successfully and has already well established products, which are sold in large volumes in tge enterprise continue to promote growth and are constantly looking for new products that could be offered on the market. This is because they are aware that the business success of the company largely depends upon the potential of the business for growth and further development.
