Povzetek
Diplomska naloga predstavlja diverzificirano rast na primeru podjetja Radio Center d.o.o. Podjetje je precej uspešna radijska organizacija, ki se je pred leti odločila za izbrano strategijo širitve iz lokalne radijske postaje v nacionalno.
Preden smo se podali v samo analizo podjetja in smotrnost uporaba obravnavane strategije, smo najprej povezali pojem diverzifikacije z osnovnimi pojmi v ekonomiji. Opredelili smo strateški management, navedli strategije, ki jih le ta vključuje in se podrobneje seznanili z opredelitvijo pojmov strategije rasti. Natančno smo opredelili pojem diverzifikacije, njene vrste in značilnosti, kdaj jo uporabljamo ter kakšne so njene priložnosti in nevarnosti.
Sledil je analitičen del, ki je vključeval podrobno analiza ožjega in širšega okolja podjetja, na temelju katerega smo lahko podali rezultate diverzificirane rasti, ki je intenzivno potekala v obdobju od 2006 do 2008. Rezultati so verodostojni in tudi javno dostopni. Naloga se nadaljuje s predlogi za nadaljnjo širitev v letih od 2009 in 2011, ki smo jih nanizali na temelju predvidevanj, trenutnega trenda rasti in poslušanosti radia in po pogovoru z vodstvom podjetja. Diplomsko delo se zaključi z oceno predlagane strategije rasti in končnimi ugotovitvami.

This thesis is based on the diversified growth of a limited liability company called Radio Center d.o.o. This company is fairly successful in the field of privately owned radio stations and one which chose to follow a growth strategy that would enable it to grow from a local into a nation-wide radio station.
Prior to the analysis of the company and the feasibility of the applied strategy, the thesis commences with connecting the term “diversification” with the basics of economics. It goes on to define “strategic management”, list strategies that the latter includes, and discuss growth strategies in detail. Furthermore, “diversification” is described in detail, including its various types and their characteristics, opportunities in which it is to be applied along with the risks and benefits it brings.
The following analytical section, which included a detailed analysis of the lesser and greater environment of the company, was the base on which we were able to present the results of intensified diversified growth during the period between 2006 and 2008. These results are authentic and subject to public availability. The thesis continues to propose solutions, which would enable further growth from 2009 through 2011. These solutions are based on fact-based assumptions, current growth and listener base trends and interviews with the radio station's management. In conclusion, the thesis presents an evaluation of the proposed growth strategy. |
