Abstract

Vodenje je bilo že v preteklosti predmet številnih proučevanj in razprav med strokovnjaki. Vodenje je ena izmed funkcij managementa in je kot tako pomembno za sleherno podjetje. Zato je izrednega pomena, kdo vodi podjetje. Vodenje zahteva ustrezno mero znanja, izkušenj, nadarjenosti, poslovne vizije, spretnosti in tudi primerne značajske in osebnostne lastnosti vodje. Vodenje je zlasti pomembno v podjetjih, ki želijo opraviti preskok v učečo se organizacijo. Vodenje je vplivanje na sodelavce, da le-ti naredijo tisto, kar vodja misli, da mora biti narejeno. Vodenje ni enkratno dejanje, temveč je proces, v katerem ima odločujoč pomen vodja sam, njegovi sodelavci (podrejeni) ter okoliščine, v katerih vodenje poteka. Vodenja ne moremo enačiti s tradicionalnim managementom. Oboje je dejavnost učinkovitih managerjev, vendar med vodjem in managerjem obstajajo razlike. Vodje so ljudje, ki delajo prave stvari, managerji pa so ljudje, ki delajo pravilno. Za vodje so pomembni vizija, smisel ter cilji, za managerja pa čim učinkoviteje opraviti delovne aktivnosti. Managerji morajo z svojim znanjem in odločitvami vplivati na razvoj in uspešnost podjetja. Vodje morajo spodbujati zaposlene za odkrivanje novih možnosti, sprejemanja odločitev in prevzemanja odgovornosti. Zaposlenim je potrebno povedati, kakšna so njihova opravila, kaj se od njih pričakuje, jim zaupati in jih obveščati o rezultatih, ki so jih dosegli. Glede na stile vodenja si zaposleni v podjetjih želijo demokratično vodenje. Zaposlenim je treba omogočiti, da imajo v neki meji možnost sodelovanja pri odločanju, saj so zato bolj motivirani za dobro opravljanje svojega dela. Vodja mora način vodenja prilagajati trenutnim situacijam, ne pa uporabljati vedno samo enega načina vodenja. Vodja mora s svojimi podrejenimi komunicirati, jih motivirati, usmerjati, skratka z njimi delati.

Secondary abstract: Leadership has been in the past, the subject of many studies and discussions among experts. Leadership is one of the functions of management and as such it is important for every company. Therefore it is important, who guided the company. Leadership requires the appropriate degree of knowledge, experience, talent, business vision, skills and personal characteristics of leaders. Leadership is particularly important in the company, who want to make the leap of a learning organization. Leadership is to influence staff, that they do only what the leader think, that must be done. Leadership is not a single act, but it is a process in which has got decisive meaning leader himself, his associates (subordinates) and circumstances, in which leadership is managed. Leadership we cannot equated with traditional management. Both it is activity of effective managers, but between leader and managers, there are differences. Leaders are people, who do the right things, managers are people who are working correctly. For leaders are important vision, sense and targets, for managers is the most efficient to carry out work activities. Managers need with theirs knowledge and decisions influence on development and success of the company. Leaders should encourage employees to explore new opportunities, to receipt decision and ownership. Employees need to tell, what are their tasks, what is expected of them, trust them and inform them of the results they have performed. According to the style of leadership, the employees of the companies want to have democratic leadership. Employees should be able to have the possibility of making decisions, because they are more motivated to do their jobs well. Leader must the way of leadership adjust in current situation, not use only the one way of leadership. Leader have to with his subordinates communicate, to motivate them, guide and cooperate with them.
