Abstract

Živimo v družbi nenehnega tekmovanja, razvoja in izboljšav. Vse skupaj predstavlja konkurenčno okolje, ki se od področja do področja razlikuje. Vsako podjetje želi s svojo ponudbo pritegniti čim večje število odjemalcev, hkrati pa tudi čim bolj povečati prednost pred konkurenco. Današnja, inovativna podjetja označujemo s karakteristikami, kot so inovativnost, fleksibilnost, učinkovitost in kakovost. Vsak kupec išče nekaj več, želi kupiti najboljši izdelek ali storitev, na to odločitev pa vpliva več različnih faktorjev, ki jih združujemo pod pojmom konkurenčna prednost podjetja. Slednje predstavlja vse, kar ugodno razlikuje organizacijo ali njen izdelek glede na konkurente v očeh njenih odjemalcev. Zato je zelo pomembno, da podjetje pozna svoje prednosti, še bolj pa svoje slabosti, saj jih lahko samo na takšen način odpravi in poveča svojo prednost. Poznavanje konkurenčnih podjetij pripomore k spoznanju, kaj ima večji ter kaj manjši vpliv na nakupno odločitev odjemalca. Praktični del diplomskega seminarja se navezuje na Skupino KIV Engineering, ki je sestavljena iz treh podjetij — KIV Vransko d.d., KIV Trade d.o.o. in KIV Engineering d.o.o.. Razlikujejo se glede na poslovni proces, ki ga opravljajo, povezuje jih končni produkt - postroj za termično procesiranje odpadkov, ki je posledica projektnega dela. Na podlagi analize smo ugotovili, da so konkurenčne prednosti Skupine KIV Engineering naslednje: blagovna znamka, dobri tehnični kadri, lastnosti izdelka/storitve, lasten patentiran »know - how«, rezultati referenčnih projektov, velik razvojni potencial, »bankability«, partnerski odnosi s podjetji, ki imajo večjo moč na trgu, prilagodljivost, fleksibilnost ponudbe (glede na zahteve kupcev), zagotavljanje kratkih dobavnih rokov ter razmerje med ceno in kvaliteto. Analiza stanja konkurenčne prednosti podjetja je brezpredmetna, če se zaposleni v nadaljevanju ne odločijo za nadaljnjo razvijanje in vzdrževanje konkurenčne prednosti. V sklopu tega diplomskega seminarja smo predlagali nekaj aktivnosti, ki bi pripomogle k razvijanju konkurenčne prednosti Skupine KIV Engineering, prav tako smo izpostavili dejavnosti, za katere menimo, da imajo največji vpliv na poslovanje v prihodnosti. Raziskave so opozorile tudi na slabosti in nevarnosti, ki imajo vpliv na poslovanje na področju pridobivanja energije iz odpadkov. Slabosti bi bilo smotrno odpraviti oziroma spremeniti v prednosti, obenem pa z argumentiranimi dejstvi čim bolj zmanjšati možni vpliv na poslovanje Skupine KIV Engineering.

Secondary abstract: We live in a society of constant competition, development, and improvements. All this represents a competitive environment, which is different from field to field. Each company wants to attract the largest number of customers with its offer, and at the same time also increase its competitiveness compared to its competitors. Innovative companies of today are characterized by innovation, flexibility, efficiency, and quality. Every buyer looks for more, wants to buy the best product or service, and there are many different factors influencing this decision. These factors are known as competitive advantages of a company. They include all that beneficially differentiates an organization or its product compared to competitors in the eyes of the customers. That is why it is of utmost importance for the company to know its advantages, but even more so its weaknesses, as only this way they can be eliminated and their advantage increased. Knowledge of competitor companies contributes to comprehension of what has greater or lesser influence on the purchase decision of the customer. Practical part of the diploma seminar refers to Group KIV Engineering, which is composed of three companies - KIV Vransko d.d., KIV Trade d.o.o., and KIV Engineering d.o.o.. They are different in terms of their business process and connected by the final product – plant for thermal waste processing, which is a result of the project work. On the basis of analysis, we have established that competitive advantages of KIV Engineering Group are the following: trademark, good technical cadre, characteristics of the product/service, own patented know- how, bankability, and price quality rate. Analysis of the situation of company's competitive advantage is unnecessary when employees do not decide for further development and maintenance of this competitive advantage. In the framework of this diploma seminar we have proposed several activities, which would contribute to development of competitive advantage of KIV Engineering Group, as well as exposed activities we believe have the biggest influence on future operations. Research has warned about weaknesses and dangers that influence operations in the field of energy recovery. It would be reasonable to eliminate the weaknesses or turn them into advantages, while at the same time decreasing possible influence on KIV Engineering Group's operations as much as possible using argumental facts.
