Abstract

Secondary title: Management of human capital in company Hotel Sava Rogaška d.o.o.
Secondary abstract: The master's dissertation applies to management of human capital in Hotel Sava Rogaška d.o.o. company. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the first part of the theoretical part we were concentrated mainly on the interpretation of concepts such as human capital and intellectual capital. In the second part of the theoretical part we tackled the employees as a source of human capital involving recruitment, employment, initiation, education and training of said employees. The last chapter of theoretical part presents us with ways to encourage employees’ innovativeness and appropriately rewarding them for successfully finished work. It is of great importance for the employees to be pleased and like to come to work so that the company is also pleased and the work is done with higher quality which leads to the company being more competitive and more successful. In the practical part of the master's dissertation we shortly introduced the company of choice and later introduce the analysis research we performed with the employees of Hotel Sava Rogaška d.o.o. company. We wanted to find out if the employees were actually satisfied with the rewarding system and what were their suggestions for an improvement of said system. At the beginning of writing the master's dissertation we set three hypotheses which were discussed throughout the assignment. Based on the results of the research we came to the conclusion that the hypotheses were: H1: More than half of the employees are satisfied with the rewarding system in the chosen company. (DISPROVEN) H2: More than half of the employees believe that the awards stimulate them to be more successful with the work they do. (PROVEN) H3: More than half of the employees believe that the financial rewarding system is more suitable than the non-financial. (PROVEN)
