Secondary abstract: | This thesis describes the fabrication of a sequential circuit, which was realized with a microcontroller. The open source platform Arduino and stepper motors are also presented. In this diploma thesis a lifting mechanism was built. The mechanism is controlled by a computer or by buttons on the circuit. For this purpose the microcontrol platform Arduino Mega 2560 was used as the control system. This constructed microcontrol circuit controlls a bipolar stepper motor in a full step mode. The stepper motor moves an object along a linear guide to different positions following a certain, pre-scheduled protocol. This specific type of circuit has been chosen because of its easy and quick adjustability. |
