Abstract

V magistrskem delu sem raziskal, kako lahko učitelj pri poučevanju zgodovine v srednji šoli uporabi film kot učni pripomoček. S pomočjo literature sem raziskal prednosti in slabosti filma kot učnega pripomočka in filma kot učnega pripomočka pri poučevanju zgodovine. Predstavil sem tudi koncept medijske pismenosti in kako lahko učitelji učencem pomagajo, da postanejo pri ogledu zgodovinskih filmov bolj kritični gledalci in kako jim bodo ta znanja koristila, tudi ko s šolanjem zaključijo. V drugi polovici dela sem pripravil nekaj praktičnih primerov - identificiral sem izseke iz zgodovinskih filmov, ki jih lahko učitelj uporabi pri poučevanju zgodovine in predstavil, kako bi jih lahko učitelj pri pouku uporabil.

Secondary abstract: In Master's thesis I researched how history teachers can use film as a teaching accessory when teaching history. With help of literature I researched strengts and weaknesses of film as teaching accessory when teaching history. I presented the concept of media literacy and how teachers can help students become a more critical audience for history film and how that will benefit them after they finish their education. In second half of my thesis I prepared some practical examples of how films may be used in history classroom - I identifyed clips from some history films that teacher can use when teaching history and presented how they can be used during history class.
