Abstract

Uvod: Pacienti z duševno motnjo imajo spremenjeno mišljenje, čustvovanje in vedenje. Pri njih sta slog oblačenja in zunanji videz medicinskih sester med pomembnejšimi dejavniki ustvarjanja prvega vtisa. Z uniformo upoštevamo protokol za preprečevanje in obvladovanje okužb in identifikacijsko podobo pri posamezniku. Civilna obleka naj bi prispevala k boljšemu zdravljenju pacientov z duševno motnjo. Vendar mora medicinska sestra paziti pri izbiri civilne obleke za na delovno mesto. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti zunanjo podobo medicinske sestre in vlogo uniforme v psihiatriji, njegovi cilji pa ugotoviti kaj pomeni uniforma z vidika zakonodaje in delodajalca, kakšno zunanjo podobo mora predstavljati medicinska sestra v psihiatriji ter kakšna je vloga uniforme in civilne obleke v psihiatriji s terapevtskega, varnostnega in higienskega vidika. Metode dela: V diplomskem delu je uporabljena deskriptivna metoda s pregledom domače in tuje strokovne in znanstvene literature. Upoštevali smo literaturo, ki je bila objavljena od leta 2005 do leta 2017 in je bila dostopna v celotnem obsegu besedila. Število vključenih člankov je 33. Ključne baze podatkov so: Cinahl, Medline, Science Direct in Scientific Research Publishing. Razprava in zaključek: Iz varnostnega razloga medicinska sestra skrbno, po navodilih delodajalca, poskrbi za svojo zunanjo podobo. Delodajalec pa po zakonih in pravilih zagotovi varnost in zdravje pri delu z osebno varovalno opremo. Zunanja podoba medicinske sestre je izražena z urejenim zunanjim videzom, obleko ter s primernim in spoštljivim vedenjem. Z zunanjim videzom zagotavlja pacientu z duševno motnjo boljše terapevtsko okolje in pomoč pri izboljšanju njegovih telesnih, duševnih in socialnih problemov. Način oblačenja na delovnem mestu lahko vpliva na paciente z duševno motnjo. Uniforma lahko vpliva na nekatere paciente in pomeni oviro v komunikaciji. Učinkovita je v tem, da medicinski sestri omogoča večjo prepoznavnost in varnost. Civilna obleka omogoča boljšo komunikacijo med pacientom in medicinsko sestro, kar lahko vpliva na boljše izide zdravljenja.

Secondary title: Role of uniform and outside nursing image in a psychiatric hospital
Secondary abstract: Introduction: Patients with mental disorder have altered thinking, feelings and behavior. For them dress code and appearance of nurses is one of key factors when forming the first impression. With uniform we follow protocol for preventing and controlling infections and also identifying image of an individual. The civil attire should contribute to better treatment of patients with mental disorder. However, the nurse must be careful in the selection of civil attire in the workplace. Purpose: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to present the nursing image and the role of uniforms in psychiatry, its objectives are what uniform means in terms of legislation and employer, what image must a nurse represent in psychiatry and what is the role of uniforms, civil attire in psychiatry from therapeutic, safety and hygienic point of view. Methods: In this diploma thesis we used a descriptive method with overlook of domestic and foreign, professional and scientific literature. We considered literature that was published between 2005 and 2017 and the full extent of the text was accessible. The number of participants is 33. Key articles of the database are: Cinahl, Medline, Science Direct and Scientific Research Publishing. Discussion and conclusion: For security reasons nurses carefully follow appearance instructions of the employer. According to laws and regulations employer ensures safety and health at work using personal safety equipment. The appearance of nurses provides to patient with a mental disorder better therapeutic environment and help to improve their physical, mental and social problems. Dress code of the nurse is expressed with nice, tidy appearance, dress and with appropriate and respectful behavior. The way you dress in workplace can affect patients with mental disorders. Uniform may affect some patients and may be an obstacle in communication. Uniform is more effective because it provides greater visibility and safety. The civil attire allows better communication between patient and nurse, which can affect better treatment outcomes.
