Abstract

Secondary title: Preservice teachers' preparedness for effective integration of ICT in teaching
Secondary abstract: Only internet access and basic use of ICT today are no longer sufficient because modern digital competencies include also adequate ICT knowledge, handling and appropriate attitude towards them. Factors that influence the success of ICT integration in education, are also teacher's training on the use of ICT and their pedagogical view and opinion on how ICT can help improve teaching. In the master's thesis we have identify how much the preservice teachers are ready to use ICT effectively in teaching, how much they feel confident in different situations, including work on the internet, and how motivated are they in different situations involving direct work with students in classroom by using ICT.
