Abstract

Zagotavljanje dolgoročne uspešnosti in konkurenčnosti ter s tem obstoja podjetja je mogoče le z neprestanim razvojem in lastno razvojno dinamiko. Zato je potrebno vse procese v podjetju skrbno načrtovati in učinkovito izvajati, hitro zaznavati spremembe ter pravilno ukrepati ob relevantnih spremembah. V magistrskem delu smo se osredotočili na spremembe v izvajanju in nadzoru projektov, vezane na proizvodni proces obrata Mehanske obdelave odkovkov podjetja Unior, d. d. – preko analize stanja smo prišli do spoznanj o pojmovanju in pomembnosti vodenja projektov v obratu. Spoznali smo, da je priporočljivo v obravnavanem podjetju na področju projektnega managementa v prihodnosti nameniti več pozornosti, kajti ustrezno načrtovanje in vodenje projektov prispeva k pričakovani dodani vrednosti, ki je pogoj za uspeh podjetja. V podjetju bo potrebno dvigniti kulturo projektnega vodenja in zavedanja pomembnosti projektnega vodenja. Za začetek nadgradnje projektnega vodenja smo predvideli vpeljavo osnovnih metod in tehnik projektnega managementa. Oblikovali smo osnovne metode, ki so učinkovite pri vodenju projektov. Ena izmed njih je metoda kritične pot, ki temelji na trajanju in odvisnosti aktivnosti projekta. Pozornost smo namenili tudi porabi virov projekta in stroškovnemu nadzoru. Z izvajanjem osnovnih metod projektnega managementa bi dosegli prvi korak k boljši organizaciji in vodenju projektov, vendar pa – glede na današnjo stopnjo in kontinuiteto razvoja – to za uspeh podjetja v nadaljnje ne bo dovolj. Nadaljnji predvideni korak je nadgradnja celovite informacijske rešitve, ki bi povezovala identificirane projekte s strategijo celotne družbe Unior, d. d. Takšna informacijska rešitev bi omogočila spremljanje projektov z enega mesta (projektne pisarne).

Secondary abstract: Assurance of long-term successfulness and competitiveness and consequently the existence of the company is only possible with continuous development and own developmental dynamics. Therefore it is necessary to carefully plan all the processes in the company and carry them out effectively, quickly perceive changes and react properly in case of relevant changes. In the Master’s thesis we focused on changes in the execution and control of projects, concerning the production process of the department for mechanical processing of forgings of the company Unior, d. d. – through an analysis of the state we came to findings about the conception and importance of projects in the department. We found that it is recommended for the discussed company to devote more attention to project management in the future, since proper project planning and management contributes to the expected added value, which is a prerequisite for the company's success. In the company, it will be necessary to raise the culture of project management and awareness of the importance of project management. For the beginning of the upgrade of project management, we foresaw the introduction of basic methods and techniques of project management. We formed basic methods, which are effective in project management, one of them is the critical path method, which is based on the duration and dependence of the project activities; we devoted attention to the use of project sources and cost management. With basic project management methods, we would do the first step towards better project organization and management, but considering the existing level and continuance of the development this would not be enough for further success of the company. The next step we are assessing is the upgrade of the comprehensive IT solution, which would connect the identified projects with the strategy of the entire company Unior, d. d. Such IT solution would enable monitoring of the project from one place (project office).
