Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis presents the business plan for the newly founded Kikos sole proprietor company. The company's line of business is retail and exclusive marketing of the global cosmetics brand KIKO MILANO. The aim of the thesis is to give an estimation on the feasibility of investment into the planned business activity and the potential for success of the business idea. The thesis consists of twelve chapters and the three opening chapters are dedicated to presenting the KIKO MILANO brand and the business model of the new company Kikos sole proprietor. The brand’s products and business branch are also described in the opening chapters. Chapter four contains a marketing survey and marketing plan. The survey is an analysis and comparison of demand, suppliers and competition, whereas the marketing plan consists of the SWOT analysis, marketing goals and strategies. The foreseen development of the company and business programmes are presented in chapters five and six, as is the location, the necessary machinery, equipment, as well as the company’s organisation, ownership and internal processes. Chapter seven offers an insight into possible risks, while chapter eight presents financial projections in the form of balance sheets, income statements,the cash flow, performance indicators and business performance, established on the basis of predictions. The time schedule is presented in chapter nine. The author gives an estimate on feasibility of analysed plans throughout the business plan in chapter ten. The thesis conclusion is that the investment in the amount of 21.600 EUR is feasible and provides a solid basis for launching and successful operation of the company in the given period. Investment is to be financed with private funding. The planned income is to exceed the planned expenses by an average of 8%, the calculated return on invested assets is 66 percent, while the return on equity reaches 43 percent.
