Abstract

Vedno več lastnikov psov se v zadnjem času odloča za sobivanje z ljubljenčki v notranjosti stanovanja, vendar pa si hkrati želijo psa namestiti v klasični vrtni pasji hiški, ki pa ni prilagojena za notranje bivanje. Ideja za razvoj nove skupine izdelkov za hišne ljubljenčke izhaja iz lastne želje po nakupu pasje hiške, prilagojene za notranje prostore, ki je, po pregledu ponudbe na trgu, nismo našli. S pregledom obstoječe literature in izvedbo lastne raziskave smo ugotovili, da na trgu obstajata želja in potencialno povpraševanje po takšnem izdelku, zato smo razvili rešitev za udobnejše notranje bivanje psov. S pomočjo Kotlerjevega modela razvoja novega izdelka smo razvili leseno pasjo hiško za uporabo v notranjosti stanovanja, namenjeno manjšim pasmam psov, s čimer smo psu zagotovili njegov teritorij oziroma osebni prostor v stanovanju, hkrati pa skrbniku ponudili več prostora za shranjevanje pasjih potrebščin. Pri razvoju izdelka smo izhajali iz že obstoječe ideje lesene pasje hiške za zunanjo uporabo, ki smo jo nadgradili in prilagodili uporabi v notranjosti stanovanja.

Secondary title: Development of a new product group for pets
Secondary abstract: Many dog owners have recently decided to cohabit with pets inside their apartments, but at the same time, they also want to place the dog in a classic garden doghouse which is not adapted to indoor living. The idea for developing a new group of pet products originates from our own desire to buy a doghouse adapted for indoor space, which, after reviewing the market, we did not find. By reviewing the existing literature and conducting our own research, we found out that there exists a desire and potential demand for such product on the market. That is why we have developed a solution for more comfortable inside living for dogs. With the help of Kotler's development of a new product, we developed a wooden doghouse for interior use, intended for smaller breeds of dogs. Therefore the dog would be provided with its territory or personal space in the apartment and its owner would be provided with extra storage space for dog supplies. In the process of developing the product, we proceeded from existing idea of a wooden doghouse for outdoor use, which was upgraded and adapted use in indoor apartments.
