Zaposljivost diplomantov Višje strokovne šole za gostinstvo in turizem Bled

Abstract

V magistrski nalogi smo raziskovali zaposljivost diplomantov Višje strokovne šole za gostinstvo in turizem Bled. Zaposljivost diplomantov je trenutno ena od najbolj aktualnih problematik. V magistrski nalogi smo se osredotočali na to, koliko časa diplomanti iščejo prvo zaposlitev, koliko diplomantov se zaposli v svoji stroki in koliko jih najde zaposlitve, za katere je potrebna nižja izobrazba. Namen magistrske naloge je bilo ugotoviti, ali so diplomanti s pridobitvijo izobrazbe zaposljivi na svojem področju oziroma v katerih panogah se dejansko zaposlijo, ko po zaključku študija pridejo na trg dela. Hkrati pa nas je zanimalo tudi ali so sploh zaposleni. V prvem delu uspešno izvedene raziskave, ki smo jo na podlagi anketnega vprašalnika izvedli med diplomanti Višje strokovne šole za gostinstvo in turizem Bled, ki so diplomirali v času od letnika 2008/09 naprej, ugotovili, da večina anketirancev ni imela težav pri iskanju zaposlitve. V tem delu smo predstavili tudi težave in mnenja diplomantov glede zaposlovanja. V drugem delu raziskave, kjer smo preučevali zadovoljstvo anketirancev s praktičnim izobraževanjem v Šolskem hotelu Astoria, smo ugotovili, da so diplomanti dobili dovolj praktičnega znanja za delo na svojem področju se pa kljub temu ne smemo zadovoljiti s trenutnim stanjem in moramo stremeti k stalnem napredovanju, nadgradnji in izboljšavam izvedbe praktičnega izobraževanja v Šolskem hotelu Astoria. V tem delu smo predstavili tudi mnenja in predloge samih diplomantov glede izboljšave praktičnega izobraževanja. Cilj izvedbe praktičnega izobraževanja se mora v največji možni meri prilagoditi tako študentom kot tudi potrebam Šolskega hotela Astoria.

Secondary abstract:	In the master's thesis, we investigated the employability of graduates of Higher Vocational College for Hospitality and Tourism Bled. Employability of graduates is currently one of the most topical issues. In the master's thesis, we focused on how long the graduates are looking for their first job, how many graduates are employed in their profession and how many find jobs that require lower education. The purpose of the master's thesis was to determine whether graduates gain employment in their field or in which sectors they actually work when they come to the labour market after completing their studies. At the same time, we were also interested in whether they were even working. In the first part of the successfully conducted research, which was based on a questionnaire among graduates of the Higher Vocational College for Hospitality and Tourism Bled, who graduated in the period from 2008/09 academic year on, it was found that most respondents did not have a problem finding a job. In this part, we also presented problems and opinions of graduates regarding employment. In the second part of the study, where we examined the satisfaction of respondents with practical education at the School Hotel Astoria, we found that graduates received sufficient practical knowledge to work in their field. Nevertheless, we cannot be satisfied with the current situation and we should strive for continuous progress, upgrading and improving the implementation of practical training at the School Hotel Astoria. In this section, we also presented the opinions and suggestions of graduates regarding the improvement of practical education. The goal of practical training should be adapted to the students as well as the needs of the School Hotel Astoria as much as possible.
