Abstract
V diplomskem delu predstavimo sistem pametnih delcev, s pomočjo katerega smo izdelali več učinkov eksplozij različnih materialov. V tem kontekstu najprej predstavimo teoretično ozadje eksplozij ter fizikalne lastnosti različnih gradbenih materialov in sistemov pametnih delcev. V sklopu praktičnega dela naloge predstavimo metodo vizualizacije s sistemom pametnih delcev in izdelavo modela. Dobljene rezultate primerjamo s primeri eksplozij iz resničnega sveta in jih tako ovrednotimo. Pri tem ugotovimo, da so omejitve povezane s tehnološkimi zmožnostmi strojne in programske opreme. S testnimi primeri pokažemo geometrijsko pravilnost naših modelov, zato lahko trdimo, da je naša animacija primerljiva z referenčnimi video posnetki.

This diploma thesis focuses on system of thinking particles and their ability to visualize the effects of explosions on different construction materials. We first present theoretical background of explosions, physical properties of construction materials, and the system of thinking particles. In the practical part of the thesis, visualization method that is based on the system of thinking particles is described together with the creation of materials. The obtained results are then compared with the real world examples. We demonstrate that most of the limitations are related with hardware and software issues. From geometrical perspective, we show that system of thinking particles is an adequate method for the visualization of the effects of explosions on different materials. |
