Abstract

Mejna osebnostna motnja je ena izmed osebnostnih motenj skupine B. Za njo je značilna tendenca k impulzivnemu vedenju brez ozira na posledice, nepredvidljivo razpoloženje z izbruhi čustev in nezmožnostjo nadzorovanja vedenjskih izpadov. Najpogosteje se diagnosticira v adolescenci. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela. Raziskovalni del je temeljil na kvalitativni metodologiji. Kot instrument je bil uporabljen vprašalnik, ki smo ga s pomočjo spletnega družbenega omrežja objavili v ciljne skupine, v katerih se študentje zdravstvene nege združujejo. Ugotovili smo, da več kot 53 % študentov, pred anketo za mejno osebnostno motnjo še ni slišala ali ne vedo če so. Kljub temu pa so anketirani vedno v veliki večini izbrali pravilen odgovor. Tako jih je kar 84 % pravilno odgovorilo, da mejna osebnostna motnja predstavlja čustveno neuravnovešenost. Prevalenca števila pravilnih odgovorov je konstantno sovpadala z naraščanjem letnika študija. Hipoteze, nismo mogli potrditi, saj je bila p-vrednost pri chi-square testu večja od 0,05. Medicinska sestra lahko le z boljšim poznavanjem mejne osebnostne motnje izbere ustrezen pristop do pacienta in mu s tem zagotovi tudi boljšo oskrbo. Adolescenti so občutljiva starostna skupina, zato morajo biti zdravstveni delavci še toliko bolj pozorni kako do njih pristopajo.

Secondary title: Treatment of adolescent with borderline personality disorder
Secondary abstract: Borderline personality disorder is one of group B personality disorders. It is characterized by a tendency to impulsive behaviour without regard to consequences, an unpredictable mood with outbreaks of emotion and an inability to control behavioural failures. It is most often diagnosed in adolescence. For our groundwork we used a descriptive method. The research was based on a qualitative methodology. We used a questionnaire, which was published online on social media, and was targeting groups of nursing students. We have found out, that more than 53% of students have not heard or do not know if they heard, before survey, about the borderline personality disorder. Nevertheless, the respondents in majority, selected the correct answer. 84% of respondents correctly answered that the borderline personality disorder is an emotional imbalance. The prevalence of the number of correct answers consistently coincided with advancement in education from junior to senior year. We could not confirm the hypotheses, since the p-value in the chi-square test was greater than 0.05. A nurse, with a better knowledge of borderline personality disorders, can choose a suitable approach for a patient and there for provides better care. Adolescents are a sensitive age group and health professionals need to be even more attentive to how to approach them.
