Abstract

Secondary title: Analysis of joints in timber frame constructions
Secondary abstract: In the first part, the thesis describes the development of wooden construction and development of juncture for the skeletal constructions from start until now. In the second part, i have described the experimental analysis of the selected juncture in wooden skeletal construction carried out by using traditional carpepenter connnections. The results were then compered to the numerical analysis results by using Solidworks software. When we were satisfied with both analysis, we olso gaind the quantity by using numerical analysis. The latter is difficult or impossible to achieve by using experimental analyisi. In the final part we have also checked the suitability of juncture done by carpenter connection by standard SIST EN 1995-1: 2005 on the spatial model of real wooden skeletal object.
